Le Santey En France
Well there social security system is alot better, covers around 75 percent. Prenatal care is free for women. French doctors are more personal and make house calls given appointments. Citizens in France are covered by Europe's health care system automatically. In America, you have to be able to afford healthcare to have its benefits and usually its the upper middle to upper class people that can afford it. That's why Obama care is causing so many issues at the moment. France taxes citizens higher so the health care system can stay working because being a french citizen, there is no option, you have to pay taxes on it. Americans have options you can apply for health care or Obama care. It depends on the social classes.

L'Edit De Villers-Coterrets
My moment is the French edict of Villers-Cotterets. It was a piece of legislation signed on August 10, 1539 in the city of Villers-Cotterets. Largely the work of chancellor Guillame Poyet, it had 192 articles in the legislation. The major goal was to get to stop the use of the Latin language in major documents and made French the only language of the motherland. Basically, it forbid the use of Latin in documents becasue the French has a lack of understanding of the language, so it was cultural ignorance and unwillingness to learn Latin that made them make this Edict. It also prohibited Guild and trade federations to supress workman strikes. Some emotions with this event are stubborness, ignorance on the French natives part and probably a sense of disassociation by the Latin speaking community. This edict hasn't effected future generation and really hasn't made an impact on pop culture at all.
